An Advanced Beginner Rider is a rider that has ridden walk, trot, and possibly canter on a well schooled horse. The rider is able to guide the horse on his or her own as long as the horse is well mannered. Rider can comfortably lead, groom, and tack the horse.

Advanced Beginner is required to begin with private lessons. Once a relationship has been established between the instructor, the rider and the horse, group lessons may be possible through request of the rider.

Each lesson is individually tailored to the needs of the rider. Advanced beginner students are obligated to ride lesson horses.

Rider will learn to walk, trot, and canter. Student will learn to guide the horse throughout a series of patterns and games.

*Note: The first several minutes of each lesson are reserved for grooming and tacking.  The time spent on unmounted work usually decreases as the student becomes more familiar with the horses and the process.

Lesson Horses suitable for these lessons are:  Plum  Chester  CJ  Murphy  Hayley  Rambo Nigel
